Well, we are born, we live and we will die one day. And in between, we will spend our lifetime doing something or the other. I guess, there is no meaning of life. Its just there, because of some accident. Who cares what Einstein’s son did or how did he die? We know Einstein because he has done some work that has been helping us to make our life better.

But, eventually, someday will come, when even Einstein will be forgotten. That’s as good as Einstein had never been born. What purpose then, did he have to come to life?

Hey your observations are quite novel,

”It sounds a little crazy to ask the question, doesn’t it? It makes you think of people who are mentally unbalanced, who can’t tell the difference between the world they live in and the hallucinations that run around in their heads.”

Good thought processes in work!

NICE WRITE UP!

It was indeed an interesting read. I personally believe that its not the BIRTH or the DEATH which really counts. What is more important is the journey between these two extreme points. Nevertheless, it was an eye-opener !

I don’t remember where I first read this but I personally do belive that we arent physical beings living out spiritual experiences but we are spiritual beings living out a physical experince.

Lord Krishna had revealed in his teahcings that the world is nothing but maya- an illusion.

I completely agree with that and I also believe that we are meant to experience this maya to its fullest to be able to understand why we were given this existence.

I also read somewhere that every soul, before being incarnated as a human being, agrees to be subjected to the experiences he or she will have in that life and all the other souls also agree to help him or her gain that experience in that physical birth. It seems all very complicated but it reallly isnt.

My faith in the reality of ”life” lies somewhere in between extreme faith in God’s plans and the manifestation of human choice as depicted in the Nicolas Cage movie ”Next”.

As for people with mental disabilities, I really don’t think we are anyone to judge their experiences, because being normal, we only use like 5% of our brains. Maybe people with disorders really can see and hear things and truths that are beyond the limits of our perception!! The truth is REALLY out there!!

Our Life is a GIFT!!! In the human form only we are capable of purifying our spirits and can get freedom from the cycle of life and death. If one can understand this simple concept of life, it may be a real GIFT for him to purify and reach his HOME.
But as things of this words give us momentary happiness, most of us are running for getting one object or another and finally eaves this world with no real credit to get freedom from the cycle of death and birth.

In developmental work, there is hardly any opportunity to think that life is a dream. Everything is of the here and now, of the palpable here and the urgently now. Life is of the definitive real.

Developmental work always needs action and requires urgency so much so that life cannot be deemed as a dream, because dream connotes ‘perhaps’ – and there is no time to waste on that.

‘Is our experience of life real’

To answer this I would like to first know what is reality?

To the spiritual life is maya and to the non-believer life is that which his senses confirm.

Even within life our reality is defined by what we experience and as every person’s experience is different every person’s reality is different including whom we label as mentally abnormal

So your experience is your reality and your reality is your life which may be different from the absolute reality if it does exist. So since it is a highly individualistic phenomenon it is better to believe that our experience of life is real –but only to us.
